Turning point Ladies Ministries International is the Women’s Wing of Turning point Ministries International. It was established in 2010 by the Premier Lady, Mrs. Sylvia Boateng who is also the President General of the ministry. Turning point ladies begun with some few members in 2010 but to God’s glory it has experienced an astronomical growth

Major Programmes One of the major activities of this ministry is an Annual International Women’s Conference which is always graced by the presence of celebrities and high profile members of society. It also features both local and international speakers. One of the primary aims of this conference is to empower women spiritually, socially and economically. The success story of the Turning Point ladies Conference is evident from the myriad testimonies of transformed lives and businesses.

EVANGELISM AND MISSIONS (GHANA)

Evangelism and missions, which has been the core and backbone of our ministry continue to improve and expand ostensibly for the past 15 years in existence in our ministry. Our team is basically tasked to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Ghana. As in the days of the early Church, the good Lord has continued to add to our number as we avail ourselves to be used by Him.

In Accra, our presence through crusades, film shows, worship and praise crusades, every member evangelism as well as one- on- one evangelism have been widely patronized and drawn many lives into the Kingdom of light from darkness mainly in areas such as Nkrumah circle, Adabraka, Newtown, Pig-farm, Kokomlemle, Asylum Down just to mention a few.

The church through it’s evangelism department has also established various cell groups and meetings at places such as Kasoa, Nima, Newtown, Kwashieman, Ashaiman etc. This is to encourage fellowship and interactions at the grassroot level of the church thereby promoting greater participation and association of members. These cells with time are to be assisted and recognized as branches in the near future when it becomes necessary.

Sports outreach has also been of tremendous help to our ministry. The youth mainly within our scope have embraced it and the grace of God has found them in our churches as members. Sporting activities with other churches and schools have won many youth to our ministry. We believe that God has good things in store for through this unique sports outreach.

Under the directions and superb leadership of our founder Rev. Chris Gaba, who is also passionate with prison and hospital visitations, we are widely present in a number of hospitals such as Korle- Bu , Ridge, Police Hospital, Achimota hospital among others with donation in kind and cash accompanying our visitations. We believe there is more to be done as there is a greater need for the gospel in this regard and a genuine need for the love of God.

Our missionary activities continue to grow and expand to other regions of the country and we believe the ensuing years provide a platform for growth and widespread missionary activities as the Lord and our spiritual leader will direct. Our committed members over the years have supported us greatly in executing our missionary work as expected.

Our distinguished team have been privileged to be used by Almighty God and we have nothing to say than ‘The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad’-(Psalm126:3).

Young Adult Ministry (YAM)

It serves as a platform to bring all the youth in the church raging between the ages of 13 to 25years together to worship and praise God. It is also an avenue where the youth can share ideas, develop their hidden talents and also embark upon educational programs.

YAM gives the platform for the youth to be empowered spiritually, healed emotionally and prepared physically for the Christian race.

The motto of YAM is empowering our generation to affect lives for Christ. Our meeting days are Saturdays 5:00pm GMT Some groups within the YAM are the young adult choir, the drama group, the prayer tower and the chorography group.

Some of the yearly activities embark upon by the YAM are excursion, youth campaigning, examination retreat, drama praise, face of young adult etc.

Foundation School of Discipleship

Established in 2007 the school seeks to established new members/convert in the foundation of faith and the vision of the church. The foundation School is designed to establish the fundamental principles of the Christian faith. It comes off every Sunday before the main service starts. After which graduants are accepted into full membership and presented with church membership certificates.

The Children’s Ministry comprises children between the ages of 1 year to 12 years. It serves as a forum that brings the children together to worship and pray to God, a platform for sharing ideas, a place to develop their hidden talents and also embark on educational programmes.

The vision of this ministry is to serve the Lord in their time. They meet on every Sunday 9:30am – 10:30am

USHERING DEPARTMENT

The group is responsible for the following:
(1) Responsible for the flow of information from the Church Administration to guests

(2) Responsible for the welfare of guests

(3) Responsible for the clearance of visitors at the airport vis-à-vis departure and arrival formalities

(4) Serve as tourist guides for guests

(5) Provide first aid to members

(6) In charge of announcements at the Information Desk

(7) Takes care of visitors during major church activities such as Conventions etc Meeting Days: The group meets once every Wednesdays from 8:00 pm.

Music Ministry

This is the music ministries of the church. They provide diversity to the music ministry by ministering soul inspiring foreign & choral music to make members of the church happy with an orthodox background to feel a sense of belonging. They are also in charge of the praise & worship ministry of the church.

Meeting Days: The group meets on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

Children ministry
